ABOUT SUE

Educated in Boston, Sue has a degrees in graphic design and early childhood education. She has been creating art most of her life and transitioned from working with acrylics to produce collage art. She is also exploring encaustic art, painting with melted wax

Inspired by nature and fantasy, Sue’s art features, the nature of New England to the Gulf Coast of Florida. After a 20 year career in graphic design, she taught art to young children, and is influenced by the art of children’s authors such as Eric Carl, Erza Jack Keats, and Aaron Becker. She has designed many works for children’s rooms and preschool lobbies and classrooms. Sue now sells and exhibits her work in Florida.
